Toddlers’ University Beeston

Introduction

Toddlers’ University is an Ofsted registered children’s day nursery in Beeston, Nottingham located next to the Middle Street tram stop. We offer first class quality, flexible, childcare and preschool education from 3 months old. The nursery was registered in Beeston by the current family owners in 2009.

The Beeston nursery is located just next to Middle Street tram stop at the top of Lower Regent Street and just 3 minutes walk from Tesco Extra and Broadgate Park and serves families from the local community of Beeston and surrounding areas located within easy reach of the Queen’s Medical Centre, the University of Nottingham and Boots.

The nursery benefits from a superb self-contained 60 sq. m physical play area comprising slides, soft toys and a huge ball pool. We use this area in all weathers and an extension to our outdoor play area and it also hosts our weekly parent and toddler group. The baby room and toddler room are located on the ground floor of the main building and the preschool is located on the first floor.

Registered with Ofsted to offer childcare for up to 72 children from 3 months to eight years old, the nursery is open from 7.30am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday all year round, excluding public holidays and one week during the Christmas holidays when the nursery is closed.

We run a weekly baby and toddler group – a small informal group which offers a fantastic opportunity for Mum’s and Dad’s in the local community (with children not attending the nursery) to drop in with their baby or toddler for a few hours of fun and play with tea, coffee and biscuits or cake (a small cover charge applies). Contact us for more information or see our facebook page for weekly updates if you wish to drop in any time.

All members of staff working in the Beeston nursery are fully qualified early years practitioners with a wealth of experience of working with children. Our cook provides freshly prepared meals every day using healthy ingredients with the maximum 5-star food hygiene rating. Senior managers are usually expected to hold university degrees and may also hold the coveted Early Years Professional status, which ensures the highest standards of care and education are met and maintained.

The Beeston nursery is a member of the National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA).

Welcome to the Baby Room…
